We help set you up and give you permission/access to our tools.
What's the deal with "Premium"?
Premium represents our commitment to aiding artists in content creation and distribution while enabling them to generate revenue. From personalized streams to paid videos, merchandise, books, and exclusives, it's a service we offer without obligation.
What does it mean to be permitted?
Essentially, our site, assistance/partnerships, and app are all free to use. While I'm all for the ideals of federation and open-source, my apprehension stems from the typical tactics of corporate entities attempting to centralize control. For those of us who have been in the early days of the internet we've seen companies kill RSS, XMPP, and currently now we're experiencing the backlash of everyone depending a few web browsers. For now this is my mitigation to prevent other comic platforms from taking my tool and using it to kill us and then centralize the content back to their platforms. Basically, it's to keep this good thing going (°ڡ°)
Do I need to pay for comics on this site?
No, payment isn't required to access comics listed on the site. However, some creators partnered with us may restrict new chapters through Patreon or our Premium service. All of our series and services are accessible for free, but if you wish to support your favorite comics and authors, you have the option to purchase a premium subscription or visit the links they provide for additional support to access their latest content sooner. For all free content we don't make money off ads running within the creators app reader, only from ads at the main site. The main site being the front page "hub".
